Qualitative Insight Director

Responsibilities:
Research:
- Manage current business in terms of value
- Develop strong account relationships with clients
- Add creativity and new innovative ways of pitching, conducting and delivering insight
- Continually improve our outputs and insight delivery so we are seen as best in class
- Build Global Vox Populi reputation for customer service excellence
Management:
- Recruit, manage, motivate and empower the Qualitative team to excel
- Create an environment where staff retention is 90%+, our preference is to recruit grads and train them up. The role includes continual development, variety and offering junior staff a meritocratic career path
- Continue to develop training programs for India and international staff
- Maintain a team/family culture within offices and globally
Business Development:
- Add ‘business’ leadership – providing input on the strategic direction of the company, developing ideas, implementing them, being entrepreneurial and willing to make things happen.
- Improve the profile and brand image of Global Vox Populi better through marketing, speaking at conferences, thought leadership papers, etc.
- Help grow Global Vox Populi in Insight business to 20-30% in the next 2-3 years
Skills/Experience:
- Must have 7+ years of Insight agency experience
- MBA from premium business school
- Possess predominantly Qualitative research experience
- Have a strong understanding of the application of marketing and marketing principles
- A strong consultancy approach
- Have excellent leadership and management skills
- Be client & team focused
- Strong communication and presentation skills – both written and verbal
- Ability to communicate effectively & tactfully with all levels of personnel
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple concurrent tasks
- Strong relationships with clients (i.e. we’d expect some business to follow you)
