Privacy policy.
How Global Vox Populi collects, uses, and protects personal data — for website visitors, research respondents, and clients.
Last updated: October 2026. This policy explains our approach in plain language. Where local law requires more, the stricter standard applies.
Who we are
Global Vox Populi is a global market research firm. For website enquiries and client relationships we act as a data controller. For research we run on behalf of clients, we typically act as a data processor under the client's instructions, and always within the ESOMAR code and applicable law.
What we collect
- Enquiry data — name, company, email and the message you send us when you brief us on a study.
- Research data — responses provided by participants in surveys, interviews and communities, collected with informed consent.
- Website data — privacy-first, aggregate analytics to understand what's useful. We do not run advertising trackers.
How we use it
To respond to enquiries; to design, field and analyse research; to meet legal, quality and contractual obligations; and to improve our website. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use research responses to contact participants with marketing.
Lawful basis
Depending on the activity, we rely on your consent, the performance of a contract, our legitimate interests in operating the business, or a legal obligation. Research participation is always voluntary and based on informed consent.
Research participants
Participation is voluntary and may be withdrawn at any time. Responses are anonymised or pseudonymised for analysis and reported in aggregate. We apply fair incentives, secure handling, and — for healthcare work — ethics-board-ready protocols and adverse-event handling.
Sharing
We share data only with vetted sub-processors (for example survey and panel providers) under contract, and with the client commissioning a study on a need-to-know basis. International transfers use appropriate safeguards.
Retention & security
We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purpose it was collected, then delete or fully anonymise it. We use technical and organisational measures — access controls, encryption in transit, de-duplication and audit trails — to protect it.
Your rights
Subject to local law (including the EU/UK GDPR and India's DPDP Act), you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing, and withdraw consent. To exercise any right, email inquiry@globalvoxpopuli.com.
Cookies
We use only essential and privacy-first analytics cookies. You can decline non-essential cookies without losing site functionality.
